And yet another story about going though the floor!

CANTON, Ohio --

Authorities in Ohio say nine firefighters have been injured while battling a fire that spread through three houses in the city of Canton.

Acting Battalion chief Chuck Goldy says six of the firefighters had to be taken to a hospital but none was believed to have serious injuries.

The fire started in one house Thursday afternoon and quickly spread to two other houses.

Officials said several firefighters fell through a floor. Then the others suffered electrical shocks when wires contacted aluminum gutter spouts near their ladders.

Three residents and two dogs had to be evacuated from the houses.

About 30 firefighters were sent to the fire in the northeastern Ohio city. They needed more than three hours to bring the blaze under control.
