Boone County, Missouri rig left the road and rolled over

HARRISBURG -- Boone County firefighter was sent to the hospital after rolling her fire engine into a ditch.
Volunteer firefighter lost control of her fire truck just south of Harrisburg on Highway J on Wednesday afternoon.

A Boone County, Missouri firefighter was able to get out of the apparatus he was driving with the assistance of another firefighter after the rig left the road and rolled over. Thew rig began to burn and the firefighter was assisted out by another engine arriving at the scene.

A Boone County Firefighter was sent to the hospital after rolling her fire engine into a ditch. Volunteer Firefighter Samantha Lamp lost control of her fire truck just south of Harrisburg on Highway J ; on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities do not know the extent of her injuries, but they did say Lamp complained of head and neck pain. Lamp was wearing her seatbelt when her truck rolled over one and a half times while she was on her way to fight a natural cover fire. A firefighter from another truck responding to the same call helped pull Lamp from the wreckage as it was on fire. Lamp was the only person in the truck that crashed.
