Fire Sprinkler Mandate Sought for New Single-Family Homes
This weekend, the International Code Council will hold a final action hearing on a resolution supporting a change to the International Residential Code to require fire sprinklers in new single-family homes.

I certainly hope that the vote is positive to change the IRC to require fire sprinklers in single family homes. Needless deaths every year could be prevented.
